Teachers need to consider brevity, spontaneity, cumulative effect and repetition when copying materials for educational purposes. Following the fair use guidelines will help keep teachers within the law when using multimedia in the classroom. Informing students and parents of the copyright laws and instilling ethical behaviors and honesty in children at a young age is essential.
